Mission Statement: Imani Abaga

After completing this work experience and Spanish programme I will have learnt to be more organised and independent, essential for my personal growth and reaching my full potential. This will be achieved by focusing on my organisational skills such as planning my work I aim to complete by two weeks of work experience, organising projects I will do like blog writing or video editing. This development will help me manage my time more effectively and become more accountable. My teachers, manager and myself will view me as an organised, thorough, responsible and determined individual with a proactive and a pragmatic mindset

Moreover, I will refine my working skills by developing my communication abilities, using Spanish professionally, and collaborating with others effectively. I will also foster my creativity through various projects connected to web page design and video editing at Spark. This process will have taught me that learning from others’ criticism is not a sign of weakness when I feel defensive about feedback.

Additionally, I will have gained a larger cultural awareness of Spain and new found appreciation for both Cádiz and El Puerto de Santa María by integrating these cities into my projects of blog posting and editing. By showcasing their beauty, I will inspire others and help them find their admiration for these places. This endeavour will also remind me of one of my power statements, that my dreams are not limited, even when setbacks make my goals seem unreachable

My peers, staff, and manager will see me as a cooperative, polite and hardworking student who passionately completes her projects.

Lastly, I will have improved my Spanish speaking skills by engaging with other students, teachers and especially in day to day life such as speaking with family in Spanish or whilst out on day trips.
