Learn Spanish in Spain during the Feria

El Puerto de Santa Maria hosts one of the most exciting Feria’s in Spain, the Feria del Vino Fino (Spring’s fair).  An incredible party atmosphere takes over the town for a week of fiesta with an explosion of colour, culture and tradition. It usually celebrated at end of April start of May (check out this year’s dates below) and packed with an amazing line-up of events. The streets stage all kinds of performers  and El Puerto becomes one grand dance floor as locals and tourists dance Sevillanas late into the night along with flamenco artists, dancers and musicians. Other events include spectacular, locally trained dancing horses and fascinating Sherry tasting experiences which is bound to make anyone appreciate this magnificent celebration, and the best part is, Spark Spanish is offering you the chance to learn Spanish in El Puerto de Santa Maria during this exciting part of the year for an amazing Spanish language holiday!

Our Spanish and Feria package is a 2 week General Spanish course that includes 20 hours of Spanish lessons and min 4 Spanish cultural activities which can include Sherry tasting, Tapas at sunset by the beach, Spanish film nights and much more as well as your accommodation in our homely cultural residence, Sparkville. The Spanish and Feria course option would be incomplete without offering you the chance to learn and then practice Sevillanas and look the part in time for the Feria. Included as part of the package is 2 dance classes taught by a local Portuense (El Puerto local) Sevillanas expert as well as a trip to an authentic Flamenco shop where you can browse the beautiful Andalusian fashion and have the opportunity to buy your very own Flamenco dress to wow the on-lookers at the feria.
