Learning a language is a very personal experience. In a way you have to accept a new version of yourself as each person feels a little different in another language, especially during the early stages of learning. It is for this reason that at SparkSpanish we have designed our Adult Spanish Courses to be much more than classes in Spain, as we see ourselves as offering our students a “Spanish experience”, one that has learning Spanish as its central hub but includes a much wider all round exposure. Our cultural activities form a special part of all our courses. We plan out the activities to not just involve language learning but also exposure to daily Spanish life and customs as we want our students to feel like one of the locals. Being based in El Puerto de Santa Maria, we have the perfect location for this as not only is it a beautiful Andalusian coastal town, it is one which attracts Spanish tourism rather than foreign, making it a great place to learn Spanish. Undoubtedly the key part of setting up this unique experience for our students is our amazing Spark staff, each member of our team is fully involved with the students with all staff running cultural activities in different moments. We pride ourselves in making students feel as welcome in Spark as they would in their own home and our high returnee rate is testament to this with many students returning year after year. Our wonderful Sparkville cultural residence adds to this “friendly”, almost family, feeling as not only do teachers teach your classes, they also share their lunch and dinner with you as year round we have staff staying the residence with the students. Our “fresh approach to Spanish” methodology has been set up with all of this in mind as it is critical to us that not only do you learn Spanish but that you experience in and feel our support and care throughout.
