Español Total or Total Spanish is our star addition to our Spanish programmes and focuses on complete Spanish immersion with the help and support of our dedicated Spanish teachers. As well as classes and our popular Español en Acción cultural events, the total spanish course would involve a weekend away in the wonderful Sierra de Cádiz. Our secret to this is that each student signs a written promise to only speak in Spanish and won’t be using a word of their native tongue during the weekend. This isn’t an easy thing to achieve but with our star Spark team there to guide and support students, it is an achievable goal and one which will make a great difference to the overall Spanish learning experience.

Curso y Comida

Curso y Comida or Spanish Course and Cuisine is a fantastic new addition to our programmes. Curso y Comida combines Spanish classes taught by our native teachers with an introduction to typical Spanish and Andalucían cuisine.  Our teachers will ensure that every meal combines a fun and enjoyable time with an interactive Spanish learning experience.

Spanish and Sport

Spanish and Sport is a Summer programme combining Spanish classes with a range of exciting sports, providing the opportunity to take advantage of the Spanish sunshine and try out some new activities! All sports take place in and around El Puerto de Santa Maria and our Spanish teachers are always on hand to provide support and encourage language learning while having an amazing time.

• Participate in our Supercool programme (a mixture of watersports) and go horseriding

Spanish and Feria

Spanish and Feria will be an opportunity to experience an explosion of colour, culture and tradition during one of the most exciting Ferias in Spain – the Feria del Vino Fino (Spring Fair). The Spark Spanish learning experience will extend from the classroom and our regular cultural events programme to the streets of El Puerto de Santa Maria which becomes one grand dance floor as locals and tourists dance Sevillanas late into the night along with flamenco artists, dancers and musicians. Other events include spectacular, locally trained dancing horses and fascinating Sherry tasting experiences which are bound to make anyone appreciate this magnificent celebration. Of course, the Spanish and Feria option would be incomplete without offering the chance to learn and then practice Sevillanas to look the part in time for the Feria!

Spanish and Morocco

Spanish and Morocco will combine our Spanish Courses with a fantastic weekend trip away in majestic Morocco.  Straight after Spanish classes on a Friday one of our Spanish teachers will accompany students to Algeciras where they will take an afternoon ferry to Tangiers. During this exciting weekend in unforgettable north Africa our Spanish teachers would take students on a day trip to the lovely blue town of Chefchaouen.

Spanish Language Holidays

Our Spanish Language Holidays offer a fantastic saving on our normal Spanish course prices with a package combining 20 hours of Spanish classes with 1o hours of cultural events. These could involve sherry tasting, tapas at sunset by the beach, Spanish film nights and much more. The package also includes accommodation in our homely cultural residence, Sparkville. Language Holidays can be booked to coincide with special events which take place in and around El Puerto de Santa Maria such as the Carnaval de Cádiz, Music Week or Moto GP, and we would encourage this to make the very most out of your time with Spark Spanish.
