My name is Liz and I’m really excited to start my work experience with Spark! I’ve only been here for a few days and I’m already having a great time. My very first night there was a bonfire night on the beach and it’s only got better from there. Between the sun, the sea and the amazing people here I think I’m in for a fantastic month.

Of course, I’m doing the work experience program so as well as doing Spanish lessons I get to learn things that will give me a real advantage in my future career. My project for the next four weeks is to create a brochure for Spark’s School Groups. I’m really interested in graphic design so I cant wait to get started!

I’ve never done anything like this before so this will be a completely new experience for me and I hope I manage to create something worth while. For the next week I will be learning to use Adobe Illustrate, the program I need to make the brochure, and researching other brochures for inspiration. I’ve already spoken with a member of Spark’s marketing team who gave me some really useful tips on setting things up. The task will be challenging but most definitely worth while. By next week I will hopefully have an idea of what the brochure will look like!
