When I started my Spark experience, I didn’t really know what to expect. To be honest, I wasn’t super motivated at first – especially with tasks I didn’t enjoy. I realized quickly that you can’t just do what you like all the time. You also need to go through the stuff that’s uncomfortable or boring, because that’s part of the journey. You can’t start at the top – you have to work your way up. That’s how you learn to appreciate your own position and understand the full picture.
One of the biggest things I’ve learned is exactly that: growth begins at the bottom. Whether it was organizing tasks, helping with things I didn’t like, or just showing up and learning from others – it all mattered. And I’m proud that I pushed through.
The blogposts were a highlight for me. I enjoyed being creative, thinking about life, and writing something that could maybe inspire other people. I liked having the freedom to express myself and I’m honestly quite happy with the blogposts I created. They feel like a reflection of who I am.
In the beginning, I was more passive. I was observing, figuring things out, not really feeling like taking initiative. But over time, that changed. I started to find fun in it. I became more involved. More confident. More me.
This journey taught me a lesson that goes beyond Spark – a lesson for life:
“Step out of your comfort zone.”
That’s where the magic happens.
